I met some great friends, and this is what I’d tell any of you. Beware your intent. We’ve hit on the fact that your lusts among other things will sell you out. Also, the peer pressure among women is just horrid, according to those I’ve met online, and I just find that no one can 100% scam you and tell you what you want to hear if you understand that online is just a great way to connect and make friends rather than just a quick husband. I like that someone mentioned displaying themselves.

ATTENTION: Slams to come, but personally, I’ve NEVER dated or had a relationship outside of “dating websites”. Why the “” you ask? I’ve always been the very, very shy church guy and have had great difficulties in getting comfortable with women in person, especially at church. Acutally my first relationship wasn’t until 23, literally. We met through a phone dating service by voice only, if you can imagine. Had some bad experiences, and some good ones. Overall, besides the relationship..

People have to stop thinking they can Identify who is or who is not saved….. No man on eath knows that but God… if you claim to know this your playing God….. Repent from this damaging doctrine…

  4. murk4heart Says:

I dont think there is any difference between meeting someone on the internet or on the street … both require time to get to know each other.. but even then you will never know who the person is untill you marry them.. you rjust gonna have to pray with some action ..like get out there go to conventions , seminary school .. visit church events… its all proximity …

I dont think there is any difference in meeting a woman online or on the street.. its all the same.. you need to spend some time with the person .. but even then you womnt know fully what your dealing with untill your married to them…

  7. murk4heart Says:

The dating environment today … is really changing ,,,,, its becoming more difficult to identify a non-believer and believer…. I see all of us just needed alot of faith in God to really find a good woman….
P>S: why do Christians insist on readin old english bibles, makes no sense… thou , cometh .. those words are not used anymore

I have met Christian women over the internet and had bad experiences. I’ve spoken to women from different states and my first girlfriend was from my same area. I met her over the internet. It turned out to be a disaster. The anonymous nature of the net is very dangerous. The fact of the matter is, you dont really know what someone is like until you actually meet them face-to-face. People do a lot of posing and faking over the internet, and I’m tired of the whole thing.

I think its a bad idea to meet someone on a Christian dating site simply because everyone is not saved on there and a lot of men are asking women for money. I know because it happend to me. He made up a concocted story about loosing his wallet and he didn’t have any money to get back home from a flight. These men will have a long six hour conversation or better with you and be out to get you at the same time. I thank God for discernment and I recognized the scam.

I am a christian and have tried on line dating sites due to another way to meet other christian men. I see it as a way to meet potential suitors. My time is occupied by work and church. There are no guys on my job and there are no guys at my church. I don’t frequent bars, parties, or clubs. I rarely meet anyone in the grocery store, gas station, or drug store. I am 34 and I have a strong desire to get married. I have not had any luck with the sites but will try again.

    wonderful point!

  14. CortezBailey Says:

The Church as it is believed by most is the physical building where we meet……..being that is not true….the church is a people not a place………using the most understood term church as the place, then that is one of the last places i would be trying to find a wife…….because most where masks when they come to what is considered the church…..im sure there are some success stories i just doubt if i will be one of them…..wherever you meet a person get to know them in different ways

I been there and have done that. We have to be careful with anything that we do in this world. Know the word and use your Godly descretion as you would in your every day life. This is the age of technology and the age of the Devil. I have met some really nice people online as well as people that had issues. I came to the conclusion that all good things come it Gods time! Anyway, I prefer the old fashion way! God Bless!

  17. doronimoh Says:

i don’t believe that being on a dating site cancels out the “he that findeth a wife” (is that some sort of doctrine on something LOL-LOL) yeah-yeah i know the TEXT says, “…he findeth…”, but if y’all women sittin’ around waitin’ to be found, y’all might be waitin’ for quite some time…booty gon’ get mighty so’ LOL …it takes two to honestly find each other…just like he that findeth a wife, …she that findeth a husband…ah come on man…there should be an EQUAL persuit…

  18. EnChristosEime Says:

Yeah, I agree. I think it sends a lot of negative signals if a woman asks a man to marry her, uuulgh. I think by nature, men like to chase because they are natural hunters, whether on a primitive or “civilized” level.

  21. jacquie4 Says:

Is it possible that we are taking that scripture too literally? The bible says that He that findeth, which would mean that he has to find us to date us then marry us, but it is possible that it does not matter how you met, but the man had to find the woman as his wife in order for a God centered marriage to happen? It’s not the woman’s responsibility to ask the man’s hand in marriage, so if he finds us to be his wife then the marriage shoudl take place. Is this possible?

  23. Chocomoca1 Says:

yeah there’s a lot of scam activity on christian dating sites. it’s bad :( I’ve been on a few but there weren’t enough people in my area …so i just go on regular dating sites and look for people that are christian lol it’s easier for me since i have a hard time mingling offline lol . yeah it’s probably different dating someone who is baby christian and then someone who is mature b/c the baby one is probably struggling with stuff from their past and might affect the mature christian who knows

  24. butterflyze Says:

waiting at the church or looking online is no different. all kinds of people go online and all kinds of people go to church! it’s like you say just because people log on to a christian site doesn’t mean they are a christian. just because people go to church doesn’t mean they are a christian. some people go to church JUST to look for a date! it’s silly but we know it happens. wait on the Lord’s timing. If it’s His will for you to be with someone and you truly want His will, it will happen.

  25. EnChristosEime Says:

    Christianesse?

    LOL

I know, you have people who are devotees to churchianity, but do not know CHRISTIANITY.
