I’m not a fan of internet dating, but after meeting loser after loser in various places (offline) I want to give it a try.

What’s the success? Why are people always so negative about online dating?

First, you cannot date online. You meet people online to eventually date offline. All the people online also exist offline so there are losers and great folks, just like when you seek out people offline.

I’ve dated guys I met online for years. Nothing serious so far, but no bad experiences either. Sometimes we didn’t “click” but nothing horrible or scary.

I’ve had a few friends and heard of tons more people who got seriously involved, engaged, or married a person they met onlne.

Apparently it works for plenty of people…just as with offine methods you must use patience and good judgment.
